An updated 2010 sitting calendar is now available from our website. The House will sit two additional days on Monday, 22 March and Tuesday, 23 March 2010. On Tuesday, 23 March, the Honourable Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, will address the House, with Senators present, in the House of Representatives chamber at 2 pm. The Calendar is available in PDF (146 kb), HTML, text-only and iCalendar formats (including iCalendar updates for additional sitting days only).

The 2010 Seminar Program is now available from our website.The Department of the House of Representatives conducts an annual program of seminars explaining the work of the House. Seminars are conducted in Parliament House and can be presented in other locations on request.

Updated Members' mailing labels for Electorate Offices are now available from the Members' pages on our website. Mailing labels for Members Parliament House offices are also available. The labels are an editable Word® file in standard 2 x 7 or 3 x 8 format.

The House of Representatives Infrastructure Committee will hold a smart infrastructure conference, ThinkFuture, in Canberra on 12 March 2010.
ThinkFuture will focus on ways to maximise the potential benefits of embedding smart technology into Australia’s infrastructure.

News about recently completed inquiries and legislation that has come before the House is also included. News and feature articles are available in HTML and PDF formats. About the House is published quarterly and is available to download from the website or in print format via a free subscription.
