Hansard

Hansard is the name given to transcripts of parliamentary proceedings. The Senate and House of Representatives Hansards are available on the Internet each morning following a sitting day. Hansards of Committee hearings are also available online. These transcripts are published shortly after the committee meets.
The electronic version of Hansard is available from 1981 onwards.

Information regarding Hansard for the last sitting period 2009

House of Representatives: The sittings on Monday 30 November, Tuesday 1 December and Wednesday 2 December are all continuations of the previous Thursday's sitting on the 26 November, and so to find Hansard for all of those days the only date that will work is 26 November. Senate: The sittings of the Senate on Friday 27 November were similarly a continuation of Thursday 26 November, so you'll need to use 26 November as the date for Friday. However, Monday 30 November was a fresh day, but that sitting was suspended (as opposed to adjourned) on Monday 30 November, Tuesday 1 December and Wednesday 2 December, so 30 November is the date to use for that week.
